HISTORY OF BIOMASS INNOVATION

A History of Pioneering and Technological Innovation in Malaysia's Palm Biomass Industry

Since establishing its local corporation in Malaysia in 2006, ARIKO Group has built a technological journey focused on the resource utilization of palm industry by-products and the development of biomass combustion, drying, pelletizing, and resource-circulation technologies.

Introduction

The Beginning of the Company

ARIKO Group's Malaysian corporation, Reliance Reap Sdn. Bhd., was established in Malaysia in 2006. Since then, the company has continuously pursued the resource utilization of palm industry by-products and the development of biomass technologies.

Over 20 Years of Field ExperienceAt the time, most palm by-products in Malaysia were either simply discarded or treated as low-value materials, while the biomass industry itself was still in its early stages. ARIKO Group recognized the future potential of this environment and began developing technologies accordingly.
Foundation for an Integrated Circular Economy PlatformBy accumulating expertise in combustion technology, drying technology, pelletizing technology, and resource-circulation technology, ARIKO Group has laid the foundation for its current integrated platform connecting Fiber, Fertilizer, Feed, Biochar, and Energy.
